Graeme is a Partner in the Litigation Department and also advises a number of employers on employment law matters. Graeme qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and was made a partner at Johns Elliot in 2009, holding the role of Managing Partner prior to the merger with Elliott Duffy Garrett in 2025.
Graeme advises on a broad range of commercial litigation and personal injury matters, primarily representing Defendants, but also acting in Plaintiff matters. He acts in the defence of veterinary negligence claims and represents a number of airlines in the defence of claims advanced under the Montreal Convention in Northern Ireland.
Graeme also has extensive experience in Defamation and Privacy matters and acts for global social media companies in the defence of claims advanced in Northern Ireland, frequently advising on interlocutory injunction applications and damages claims .
